OBITUARIES- JESSE FISHER Jesse Fisher, son of Clinton Manuel and Cora Vale Malone Fisher, was born Nov. 24, 1882, in Tremont, Ill. When he was a small child his parents moved to Nebraska, locating in the farming area east of Pawnee City. Here Mr. Fisher attended the Sheridan grade school and later attended the Pawnee City high school for a short time. As a young man he became a farmer and purchased a farm east of Pawnee City. In the early 1920's he was incapacitated by a nervous disorder which caused him to be hospitalized most of the time until recent years after which he made his home with his sister, Mary E. Fisher, of Pawnee City. He died Feb. 12, 1966 in the Humboldt hospital, Humboldt, Nebr., following a short illness. In addition to his sister, he is survived by a brother, Clinton D. Fisher of Lebanon, Kans.; a nephew, Richard Fisher, also of Lebanon; and a niece, Mrs. Albert Beardslee of Almeda, Kans. Two sisters and one brother preceded him in death. The funeral service was held Feb. 15,at the Wherry Brothers Mortuary with Rev. Ralph Conyers officiating. Pallbearers were Keith Hardin, Walter Stewart, Bob Williams,Dale Marshall, Walter Collar and Gerald Snyder. Homer Cline was the soloist accompanied by Mrs. Ralph Conyers. Interment was in the Pawnee City cemetery.
