Enlisted on Feb. 20, 1861, in Company E, First (Butler's) S.C. Infantry (1 S.C. Regulars). On Jan. 19, 1862, was furloughed home as sick. Discharged and paid on Feb 20, 1862. Reenlisted on April 22, 1862 in Company D, Palmetto Sharpshooters. Wounded on May 31, 1862, Battle of Seven Pines (sometimes called Fair Oaks). Appears on roll of sick and wounded in General Hospital #18, Richmond, on February 1863. Died on the 21st. Telemachus' affidavit states that he had neither wife nor child.
