Read More	JESSIE IRENE KELLER Jessie Irene Keller, daughter of Edward and Ivy Walker Keller, was born in Jefferson county, Sept. 22, 1901, and passed away the 13th day of April, 1931. She graduated from Birmingham high school in 1929, entering Parsons college in the fall of that year. She was a member of Elzevir Literary society and the graduating class of 1924. The year following her graduation she taught in the Packwood high school. On Oct. 12, 1925, she was united in marriage to Frank Stever, they making their home in Fairfield. In 1930 she secured a divorce and spent some time at Iowa City in nurses' training. She returned to Fairfield from Iowa City and made her home with her father. Miss Keller's death was preceded by her mother's 16 years ago. Of the immediate family who mourn her death are her father, Edward Keller of Fairfield and two sisters, Mrs. Gaston Droz of Fairfield, and Mrs. K.V. Stephenson of Waverly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ JESSIE KELLER Funeral services of Jessie Keller were held in Fairfield on Wednesday and the burial was in Birmingham cemetery. She took her own life on Monday afternoon and was found on the floor in the apartment in Fairfield where she and her father, Ed Keller, made their home. Her death was caused by nicotine sulphate. By her side was a note to her father and two sisters, Mrs. Gaston Droz of near Fairfield, and Mrs. Kenneth Stevenson of Waverly, Iowa. A coroner's inquest was not considered necessary. About seven years ago she was united in marraige with Frank B. Stever and they were divorced on July 21, 1930. During last winter she was a student nurse in an Iowa City hospital, and she has recently been employed in a Fairfield store. She and her parents were former residents of Van Buren county, making their home on a farm near Birmingham. She was preceded in death by her mother. "Scrapbook of Unknown Origin" Posted by Sherri
