BRIDGEMAN DEAD Mrs. James Bridgeton died at her home one and one half miles west of Nodaway Sunday evening of this week at about 11 o'clock, her death being the sad termination of four weeks illness with typhoid fever Funeral services were held Tuesday, the body being brought to Villisca and interment made in this cemetery, The obsequies were in charge of Rev. Enoch Hill and the last, sad rites were performed at the Methodist Church in this city. Mrs. Bridgeman was the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Jacob Higgins and had two brothers, Robert and James Higgins and a sister, Mrs Frank Cooney, living in this vicinity. At the time of her death she was in her 33rd year, having been born near Burlington, April 19, 1876. She was married to Mr. James Bridgeton on the 12th day of March 1893 and was the mother of two children, a girl and a boy, whose names are Zella and Frank. Mrs. Bridgeman had lived all her life in the vicinity of Villisca and Nodaway and was loved and respected by all people who knew her. The community extends sincerest sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
