Description	:	Joanne Martin, 93 of Lancaster passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at her residence. She was born on April 3, 1929 in Lancaster to the late Raymond and Lillian (Kinser) Bobbitt. Joanne was a retired legal secretary for local attorney's offices and she also worked for Anchor Hocking. She was a member of the Faith Memorial Church and served as the missionary president at church. Read More	Joanne Martin, 93 of Lancaster passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at her residence. She was born on April 3, 1929 in Lancaster to the late Raymond and Lillian (Kinser) Bobbitt. Joanne was a retired legal secretary for local attorney's offices and she also worked for Anchor Hocking. She was a member of the Faith Memorial Church and served as the missionary president at church. Joanne enjoyed traveling internationally, she volunteered at hospice for over 18 years and also volunteered her time tutoring at West School. Joanne is survived by her son Larry (Vickie) Valentine, daughter Marcia Beatty, 12 Grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, sister Mary Lou (Stan) Weisbrod, and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Noel Martin, daughter Sharon Reyes, siblings Mona Bobbitt, Danny Bobbitt, Roger Bobbitt, and Louise O'Tero. Funeral Services will be at 11:00AM on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the Sheridan Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 6-9PM and on Wednesday from 10am to the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to FAIRHOPE Hospice in Joanne's memory.
