She was born November 22, 1938, in Ottumwa to Orville and Mamie Marie Milliman Shewry. She married David Lee Dimmitt on April 21, 1957. He preceded her in death on December 11, 2009, Joanna had been a resident of Ottumwa all of her life except for 35 years that she and her husband lived in Southern California. Her body has been cremated. Memorial services will be 1 p.m.Friday at First Pentecostal Assembly of God with Pastor Richard Schlotter officiating."
