Description	:	The funeral for Joe Mesic, 84, of Omaha will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, 5050 Harrison Street, Omaha with the Rev. Father Vojislav Dosenovich, officiating. Mr. Mesic died Jan. 25 in Bellevue, Neb. He was born Jan. 22, 1919, in Council Bluffs. He had retired as a Union Pacific Railroad switchman/conductor after 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Yvonne Curry, parents Peter and Miliza, brothers Mike and Robert, and sister Mary. Visitation will be today from 2 to 8 with a prayer service at 7 at Bethany Funeral Home, 82nd and Harrison Street in Omaha. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
