Description	:	Steve Kmezich, 76, of Council Bluffs died March 31 at Midlands Living Center. He was born April 2, 1928, in Council Bluffs to Peter and Miliza (Plecas) Kmezich. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1947. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Kmezich; brothers, Joe Mesic, Robert Mesic and Mike Kmezich. Survivors include his sisters, Zora Stradley, Ann Fatovich and Helen Vaughan, all of Council Bluffs, Alice Benscoter of Westphalia and Louise Johnson of Belgrade, Mont.; brothers, John Mesic, Eli Mesic, and... Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dan Wills of Ridgecrest Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with a luncheon following at American Legion Club with military rites at the grave by American Legion Post No. 2.
