Description	:	Mrs. Schneider was born in Bavaria, Germany, July 27, 1831. She and her future husband, Henry Schneider came to America on the same ship in 1857 and were soon afterwards married at the home of Mr. Schneider's brother in Pennsylvania. They resided for a time in Pennsylvania and then removed to Iowa. In 1872 they came from Iowa and took a homestead in Madison Township in this county, where Mr. Schneider died July 29, 1873. Read More	Mrs. Schneider was born in Bavaria, Germany, July 27, 1831. Mrs. Schneider continued to reside on the homestead until her death. Circumstances indicate that Mrs. Schneider died Sunday night. Several of her grandchildren were with her on Sunday and some stayed as late as 7 o'clock in the evening. She seemed cheerful and in her normal health. Six children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Schneider. of these Mrs. Caroline Wirz and Mrs. Barbara Kauth are deceased. Those who survive are Mrs. William Schroder, Mrs. Jacob Kirst and Mrs. Frank Bradley of Geneva and Henry Schneider of Sawyer. She is also survived by thirty-nine grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. The funeral took place from her late residence at Sawyer at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. L. R. DeWolfe of Fairmont. The body was interred in the Fairmont Cemetery beside that of her husband. The Nebraska Signal June 12, 1913 front page. Married Henry J. Schneider in January of 1857 at Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
