Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4. at Holy Spirit Church in Carroll. Celebrants will be Father Louis Greving and Father Mervln Hood. Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. today at, Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Rosaries will be recited today at 3 p.m. by the Legion of Mary and at 8:15 p.m. There will be a Christian wake service at 7:30 tonight by Holy Spirit Parish. Born Feb. 14, 1904, at Roselle, Miss Rotert was a daughter of Henry and Bernadine (Starman) Rotert. She spent her younger years in the Roselle community where she attended Holy Angels Schools. She then spent her time caring for her mother and father until their death. In 1958 she became the housekeeper for Father Louis Greving. She held that position for 20 years. In 1978 she she returned to Carroll and was employed in various occupations. She became a resident of St. Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll in November 1990. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish in Carroll, the Parish Ladles Guild, the Legion of Mary and the Holy Spirit Quilting Bee. Miss Rotert is survived by two brothers: John Rotert of Halbur and Bernard H. Rotert and his wife, Ruth, of Carroll; two sisters: Anna Greving of Carroll and Mary Haverman and her husband, Lawrence, of Carroll; a sister-in-law: Marie Rotert of Lidderdale; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Henry Rotert, Joseph Rotert and Bernard Rotert, as a child; and two sisters: Catherine Meiners and Elizabeth Hoffman.
