OBITUARY - Funeral services for Mrs. Ben Meiners, 62, of Dedham will be at 9:30 Friday morning in St. Mary's Church, Willey. The Rev. Richard Zenk will offer requiem mass. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at Willey. Fr. Zenk will lead the rosary recitation at 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the Sharp Funeral Home here, where the body is resting until the time of the final rites. Mrs. Meiners, the former Catherine Rotert, died at her home two miles south and one-half mile east of Willey at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday after a four-year illness. Her condition had been serious for two months. A daughter of Henry Rotert and the late Bernadine Rotert, she was born March 14, 1896, at Roselle. She married Bernard (Ben) Meiners April 13, 1920, at Holy Angels Church, Roselle, with the Rev. John Gehling officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Meiners have lived in their present home since their marriage. Mrs. Meiners is survived by her husband; six children, John Meiners, Carroll; Alvert Meiners. Gray; Mrs. Clarence (Catherine) Wittrock, Carroll: Bernard Meiners, Coon Rapids; Mrs. Norbert (Marcella) Naberhaus, Dedham, and Anthony Meiners, Carroll: 13 grandchildren; her father, Henry Rotert, Roselle; four brothers, Henry Rotert, Adasa; Joe Rotert, Lidderdale; John Rotert, Carroll. and Ben Rotert, Carroll, and four sisters, Mrs. Anton Hoffman, Glidden; Mrs. Joe Greving, Carroll; Mrs. Lawrence Haverman, Carroll, and Johanna Rotert, at home with her father. Mrs. Meiners mother died Feb. 2, 1950, and a brother, in 1918. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, the Rosary Socially and St. Mary's Guild at Willey.
