Description	:	Clyde Republican Sept. 26, 1929 John A. Pellant died at his home southwest of Aurora Sunday, Sept. 22, at 1 p.m. He was born at St. Cyrille, Canada, Jan. 17, 1872. When about four years of age he came to St. Joseph, this state, with his parents and had lived here ever since with the exception of a few years spent in Colorado for the benefit of his health. Read More	Clyde Republican Sept. 26, 1929 John A. Pellant died at his home southwest of Aurora Sunday, Sept. 22, at 1 p.m. He was born at St. Cyrille, Canada, Jan. 17, 1872. When about four years of age he came to St. Joseph, this state, with his parents and had lived here ever since with the exception of a few years spent in Colorado for the benefit of his health. Upon his return he moved to a farm southwest of Aurora. Mr. Pellant had suffered a great deal from asthma and about two years ago was stricken with cancer on the face which is believed to have been caused by a defective tooth. He was married in January, 1909, to Alexine Girard, who survives him, one son, Eddie N. Pellant; his aged father, Samuel Pellant, two brothers, Arthur and Henry, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Charbonneau, all of Clyde. His mother, one sister and one brother preceded him in death. Funeral service was held at Aurora Sept. 24, 1929, Rev. S. V. Fraser officiating and he was buried at St. Joseph cemetery. Rev. Diss paid the last tribute. The pall bearers were Napoleon, Adelard and William Charbonneau, Willard and Albert Pellant and Delphos Racette, all nephews.
