Husband of Barbara Graber, married on March 26, 1878 in Jefferson county, Iowa. ---------------- The Fairfield Daily Ledger-Journal Tuesday March 20, 1923 Pg. 1 Col. 4 JOHN LARSON DIED THIS MORNING Mrs. Larson Is Very Ill At the Home of Her Daughter In Beckwith John Larson, 809 West Gear, passed away this morning about six oclock at the home of his daughter Mrs. Elmer C. Davis, 5 1.2 miles east of the city, where he and his wife were taken two weeks ago for care. His wife is very ill, being bedfast for some time. Mr. Larson was born in Jefferson county, near Lockridge, February 7, 1855, and practically all his life has been spent in this county and for several years the family has made their home in this city. Besides his wife who was formerly Miss Barbara Graber, he is survived by the following children: Joseph Larson of Marshfield, Oregon; Mrs. Elmer C. Davis of Beckwith; John Larson of Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Phillip Kasowsky (sic. Kasowski) of near Fairfield; Mrs. A. E. Blackford of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. Lorenzo Heston and Ralph Larson of this city; Raymond Larson of Corvallis, Oregon; Glen Larson of Chicago, Ill.; and Floyd Larson of this city. The funeral arrangements cannot be completed until relatives at a distance are heard from. -------------- The Fairfield Daily Ledger-Journal Wednesday March 21, 1923 Pg. 2 Col. 3 JOHN LARSON FUNERAL FRIDAY AFTERNOON The funeral services for John Larson, who passed away yesterday morning about six oclock at the home of his daughter Mrs. Elmer C. Davis, five miles east of the city will be held from the Davis home Friday afternoon at two oclock in charge of Dr. C. L. Tennant of the Methodist church.
