Description	:	John Anderson Troster, son of William and Ellen [McElroy] Troster, died at St. Joseph Hospital. January 9 he suffered a fractured hip. He was of a family of 4 children, 1 brother and 2 sisters: Charles, Mrs. Lizzie West, and Mrs. Mary Kimple, all deceased. He was married in Humeston, Iowa on August 9, 1886, to Margaret Niday, also of Wayne County. To them was born one son, Ray William, who passed away November 2, 1937, at the age of 50 years. Mr. Troster leaves to mourn his passing his wife, two grandsons, Raymond and Richard, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Roxy Troster, granddaughter-in-law, Mrs. Raymond Troster, a great granddaughter, Sherry Sue, and other relatives. The deceased spent practically all his life in Wayne County. He was one of the pioneer farmers and stock raisers of this community. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. P. Trostle, at the Allerton Methodist Church Sunday afternoon, January 17. The singers were: Mrs. W. G. Robinson, Mrs. Burl Cook and Mrs. S. P. Trostle.
