Description	:	Allerton News Oct 1906 Death of Mrs. West Mrs. Thos. West of Corydon died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Geo. Kimple, in Allerton on Sunday last. Mrs. West had been in poor health for some time. They left their home in Corydon some few months ago in a wagon expecting to drive through the south for the benefit of her health, but got, we understand, only as far as Lineville Springs. Mrs. West had been in poor health for some time. Returning she stopped with her sister Mrs. Kimple where she breathed her last as above stated. Mrs. West was born in Indiana, June 6, 1856, and died Oct. 28, 1906, being a few month over fifty years of age. She united with the M.E. church in 1874, of which she was a faithful member until her death. Her last request was that her friends meet her in heaven. Funeral services were in charge of Rev. W. H. Larrick, pastor of the M. E. church of Allerton, and were attended by a large number of sympathizing friends after which the remains were interred in the Corydon cemetery.
