William Sheldon, Mary Margaret -1876, Ada Clematis b. 1878 m, James Rachford, Winfield Scott Finefield, Kathryn "Katie" Basheba b. 1880 m Philip Warren Christian, Peter Clayton "Dick"b. 1883 m Clara Buckman, Eddie Knox -1886, and Otto Clare b. 1887 m. Lola Madin. Johnny, Mary, and Eddie died in infancy. J.C and his wife came from Meade Kentucky to Iowa in 1877 and lived in Morse, Iowa until 1892 when they moved to Buchanan, Iowa and later Rochester, Iowa. JC was a member of the Baptist Church and later the United Christian Church. He was 88 years old at the time of his death. He is buried at Rochester Cemetery in Rochester, Iowa.
