Description	:	John Howard Thayer Francis, 47, of Hollywood, Maryland died on October 22, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, Maryland. Born in Rodchester, New Hampshire on March 14, 1958, he was the son of Janet Sargent Francis Russell of Andover, Massachusetts and the late George Wilson Francis. He was a graduate of New Hampton High School in New Hampshire and served in the United States Navy from 1976 to 1980 and he received a First Good Conduct Award. Francis, Jr. of Hollywood, MD, two brothers, Thomas Francis of Centerville, Massachusetts, Stephen Francis of Golden, Colorado, and one sister, Sarah Francis Lafond of Orrs Island, Maine. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Lynn Francis.
