Read More	(Thanks to Find A Grave Contributor #46543875) John Page, son of August and Charlotte Page, was born in Hamilton County, Nebraska, February 8, 1872, and died at the family residence near Aurora, Nebraska, March 26, 1936. He spent his early manhood in Hamilton County. In the year 1900 he was united in marriage with Etta Smith at Archer, Nebraska. Soon after his marriage he became an employee of the T. B. Hord Company and continued in their employ for about thirty years. At the time of the death he was serving as superintendent of the Hamilton County Farms at Aurora. Those of the immediate family surviving Mr. Page are his wife and seven children: Raymond R. Page, Mrs. Dorson Ketch and John L. Page of Central City; Cecil, Inez and Donzola of Aurora. One son preceded him in death at the age of four years. He also leaves three sisters: Mrs. Carl Olson of Clarks; Mrs. A. D. Lear of Central City and Mrs. C. C. Trobee of Omaha, one brother, Hubert R. Page of Omaha, two grandchildren, a host of near relatives and friends. Mr. Page was a splendid citizen and word of his death came as a blow to him many friends in Merrick County. Sympathy is extended the members of the family. The funeral was held from the Methodist Episcopal Church in Central City last Saturday at at 2:30 o'clock p.m. and was largely attended. President O. W. Carrell of Nebraska Central College conducted the service and delivered a splendid sermon of comfort to the bereaved ones. Mrs. H. L. Temple sang, "When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder" and "Only a Shadow Between," with Mrs. Jack Webster accompanist. The floral offerings were both beautiful and profuse, with Mrs. Mary Holtz and Mrs. Iva Larson in charge. The pall bearers were: Will Saylor, Vern Smith, Herber Hord, John C. Naylor, all of Central City, and Alfred Lang of Aurora.
