MATILDA HUDNALL LAID TO REST SUNDAY Passed Away at Home of Daughter in Lincoln Resident of State 64 years Mrs. Matilda Hudnall, a resident of Nebraska for sixty-four years, passed away last Wednesday at 8:45 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Fieselman in Lincoln, at the age of 67 years, 2 months and 20 days. The cause of her death was attributed to coronary occlusion. Mrs. Hudnall had been visiting with her daughter. Matilda Page, the daughter of August Page and Charlotte Anderson, was born March 15, 1868, at Galesburg, Illinois, and died June 5, 1935. At the early age of three years she came with her parents to Hamilton county, where she grew to womanhood. On September 2, 1883, she was united in marriage to Harvey H. Hudnall at Aurora. Later she and her husband moved to a farm near Chapman in Merrick county, and resided there until 1920. In that year they came to Central City to make their home, and remained until both answered the final summons. Mr. Hudnall passed away August 7, 1932. To that union four children were born, three daughters, Mrs. Nettie Cahow of Imperial, Miss Mabel Mae Hudnall of Central City and Mrs. Wauneta Fieselman of Lincoln, and one son, Guy Hudnall of Grand Island. Grace and Guy, Jr., grandchildren were also reared by the couple. Mrs. Hudnall since 1920 had been a faithful member of the Methodist Episcopal church in Chapman. She was also a member in good standing of the Royal Neighbors at Chapman. She is survived by her four children, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hudnall was a lady of many fine qualities. While she was of a quite and retiring nature, she made many friends to whom she was greatly devoted. She was a sincere and thoughtful person, whose death marks the departure of another valued citizen. She was always deeply devoted to her home and loved ones, and they, in turn, reciprocated with affection and kindly deeds. There is comfort in the knowledge that she passed peacefully, and faith in the belief they will be reunited in Heaven. The burial services were held from the late home Sunday afternoon, June 9th at 2:00 o'clock with Rev Austin, pastor of the Chapman Methodist church in charge, and were attended by a vast assemblage of relatives and friends. The floral offerings were profuse and revealed the many friendships of the deceased and appeal of her character. "Shadows" and "In the Garden" were beautifully sung by Mrs. Geo. Gregg, accompanied by Mrs. Walter Raecke, as they did at the services of Mr. Hudnall. The pall bearers were: Dr. J. W. Hutchinson, J. C. Long, Earl McHargue, Ira Mack, George Everett and George Desch. Interment was in the Central City cemetery at the side of the late husband. Relatives and friends from out of town in attendance at the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Carl Fieselman, Lincoln, Nebr.; Mrs. Nettie Cahow and LeRoy Cahow, Imperial, Nebr.; Guy E. Hudnall, Mr. and Mrs. Baird Lawson and son Bobbie, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Hartmas, Mrs. Lenora Page, Lela Page, Harry Page and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Page and Gladys Denning, Grand Island, Nebr.; Mrs. C. Trobee, Mrs. Pearl Gard, Mrs. Frank Buckley and Mrs. and Mrs. H. R. Page, Omaha; Oscar Hansen and family, Stromsberg and Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Derieg, Lincoln. ____________________
