Born in Almonte, Mr Millar was the son of the late William Henry Millar and Mary Turner. He is also predeceased by his brothers Delmar and Lawrence. Mr Millar worked in the textile industry and later at Findlay's Foundry in Carleton Place. He is survived by his nieces Hazel, Marion, and his Nephews Delmar, Leonard, and Desmond. He was the brother-in-law of Teresa Millar. The funeral, conducted by Rev John Lougheed, took place Jan 12 from the Kerry Funeral Home. A Masonic service was held Sunday. Burial at the Auld Kirk Cemetery.
