Read More	AKRON RESIDENT DIES SUDDENLY LAST SATURDAY Last Rites Are Held Wednesday Afternoon For Victor Neal Victor Neal, 73, lifelong and respected resident here, passed away suddenly at his home Saturday. He had been in failing health for some time, but had been around as usual up to the time of his death. John Victor Neal was born October 27, 1892, the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Neal, early day residents of Akron. He grew to manhood here and was united in marriage with Mina Johnson at Elk Point, S. D., November 2, 1929, and they had since resided here. One son was born to them. He was employed at a local bakery for a number of years. Mr. Neal was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the First Baptist church of Akron, the Hoschler Post, American Legion of Akron, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and World War I Veterans of LeMars, Iowa. Survivors are the widow; a son, William E. of Cincinnati; and a grandchild. They have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Baptist church, Rev. Michael Strom officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery, with graveside rites conducted by Hoschler Post of the American Legion.
