Description	:	John Wayne Kiedrowski, 53, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, August 13, 1991 at his home in Bridgeport following an extended illness. Mr. Kiedrowski was born January 21, 1938, at Spokane, Washington, the son of the late John Kiedrowski and Elsie (Mantei) Rawley. He spent his early years in Spokane, moving with his family to the Brewster-Bridgeport area where he attended school and has since resided. Mr. Kiedrowski joined the US Army in 1961 and served a year in Greenland. Read More	John Wayne Kiedrowski, 53, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, August 13, 1991 at his home in Bridgeport following an extended illness. Mr. Kiedrowski was born January 21, 1938, at Spokane, Washington, the son of the late John Kiedrowski and Elsie (Mantei) Rawley. He spent his early years in Spokane, moving with his family to the Brewster-Bridgeport area where he attended school and has since resided. Mr. Kiedrowski joined the US Army in 1961 and served a year in Greenland. Following his discharge he worked on the construction of several dams in the area, such as the Hermiston dam and Coulee Dam, and worked on a bridge in Montana. He also managed a cafe in Manning Park, British Columbia. For the past several years he has worked at the Perkins Orchards. Mr. Kiedrowski was a member of the Bridgeport American Legion Post No. 218 and the Bridgeport Aerie of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling, which took him to Spokane. He was a narrator of tall tales. He is survived by his wife at home in Bridgeport; a son, Patrick Wayne Kiedrowski of El Cajon, California; a daughter, Michella O'Conner of Mountain Home, Idaho; two step-daughters, Theresa Dale, of St. John, Washington and Esther Zimmerman of Wenatchee, Washington; his mother, Elsie Rawley of Brewster, three brothers, Art Kiedrowski of Okanogan, Frank Rawley of Spokane and Gary Rawley of Spokane; two sisters, Adeline Thacker of Cheney and Barbara Kime of Pana, Illinois and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and his wife Ann Galbraith. Services were conducted Monday, August 19, 1991 at 2 pm from the Barnes Chapel, Brewster, with Pastor David Drury officiating. Interment was at the Bridgeport Cemetery with military rites by the Bridgeport American Legion Post No. 218. Arrangements by Barnes Chapel, Brewster.
