Description	:	Jorgen C. Ringen, age 62, retired Kenmare businessman, was found dead in his home Thursday morning, July 12th. Funeral services for Ringen were held Monday, July 16th at 2 p.m. in Nazareth Lutheran Church with Rev. Arlyn Norris officiating. Mrs. Marvin Gravesen was organist. Pallbearers were Gilbert Rauschenberger, John Odland, Norbert Nielsen, Allen Martin, James Geiger and Richard Hansen. Honorary bearers were E.C. Johnson, Carl Bergman, Irvin Purdy, Clayton Sand, Wallace Gorman and Reuben Jessen. Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery with Thompson-Larson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Ringen was born Nov. 4, 1916 at Minot. In 1928 he moved with his parents to Kenmare. For two years, he attended the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. Later, with his family, Mr. Ringen operated the M. Ringen Company hardward and furniture business at Kenmare. The Ringens also formerly operated the funeral home at Kenmare. He married Lorraine Nelson Aug. 31, 1941, at Drake. From 1942 until 1945 he was in the Army. Mrs. Ringen died in May 1967. Mr. Ringen retired in 1968. He was a member of Nazareth Church, in Kenmare Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He was past president of the Kenmare Association of Commerce. He was a member of the Minot Elks Lodge, and the Kenmare Fire Department. Survivors; sons, Jon, South Bend, Ind., and Johan, Minot; and sister, Mrs. Olive Bodmer, Kenmare.
