Description	:	Joseph Dean Taylor was born at Minden, Nebr., July 17, 1922, and passed away at San Francisco, Calif., November 15, 1972, at the age of 50 years, 3 months and 28 days. Joe graduated from Minden High School in 1941, and for about q year worked for Safeway Stores, Hastings, Nebr. In September 1942, he enlisted in the Army Air Corps and served his country for four years in the Philippines and New Guinea. Read More	Joseph Dean Taylor was born at Minden, Nebr., July 17, 1922, and passed away at San Francisco, Calif., November 15, 1972, at the age of 50 years, 3 months and 28 days. Joe graduated from Minden High School in 1941, and for about q year worked for Safeway Stores, Hastings, Nebr. In September 1942, he enlisted in the Army Air Corps and served his country for four years in the Philippines and New Guinea. Following his discharge, he again worked for Safeway Stores at meat cutter in Alliance, Chadron and Kimball, moving to California in 1963. During the last three years Joe was frequently hospitalized at the Veterans Hospital, Fort Miley, Calif. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Minden. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother. Survivors include two daughters, four grandchildren, one sister, two brothers and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, November 21, at the Layton Funeral Home, with Rev. John Hart officiating. Interment was in the Minden Cemetery.
