Description	:	Martha Brothe Taylor was born at Minden, Neb. on her grandparent's farm east of Minden on October 5, 1890. She passed away at the Bethany Home in Minden on Sunday, November 28 at the age of 65 years, 1 month and 22 days. Her passing was a shock to her many friends and relatives as she had been feeling so well lately. Her death occurred one year to the day following her first stroke. Read More	Martha Brothe Taylor was born at Minden, Neb. on her grandparent's farm east of Minden on October 5, 1890. She passed away at the Bethany Home in Minden on Sunday, November 28 at the age of 65 years, 1 month and 22 days. Her passing was a shock to her many friends and relatives as she had been feeling so well lately. Her death occurred one year to the day following her first stroke. She lived in Minden almost all her life, except a few years when she lived with her mother in Kansas and attended school and the 15 years when she lived in Lincoln. She returned to Minden December 1, 1954. She was married to Orien Howard Taylor in 1908. To this union were born five children. Her husband and an infant son preceded her in death. Left to mourn her passing are the four remaining children, two brother, one grandson and four granddaughters. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 1 at the Layton Funeral Home and burial was in the Minden cemetery. Minden Courier December 3, 1955 Page 3, Column 5
