It was there Mr. Krisinger spent the days of his boyhood and youth. As a young man Joseph worked in the coal mines in the homeland. At the age of 31 years he came to America and to Creston, Iowa. On February 16th, **, at Williamson, Joseph was united in marriage to Miss Blanche Sychra. To this union there were born two children, Harry and Albena. During the many years that Mr. Krisinger lived in this community he has been engaged in farming. For the past six years he has lived with the family here in Prescott. Joseph Krisinger was a man of uprightness, and through the many years he has lived in this community he has earned the reputation of being a man of sterling qualities. He grew up in the faith of the Catholic Church, and has always been friendly toward all religious faiths. He was also a member of the I. C. B. J. Lodge No. *. For a number of years Mr. Krisinger suffered with diabetes; but it was only recently that his physical condition seemed to take a sudden change for the worse. During this recent illness, tender and loving hands ministered to him constantly, giving him all possible comfort. Mr. Krisinger passed from this earthly life, last Wednesday morning March 9th, at his home, at the age of 64 years, one month, and fourteen days. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, his two children, Harry of Prescott vicinity, and Mrs. Albena Wesley of Callender, Iowa, one granddaughter, Norma Darlene Krisinger, two brothers, James of Prescott, and Frank of Timken, Kansas, two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Patera of Prescott and Mrs. Mary Brezo of Orient, many other relatives and a great host of friends. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Christian church, conducted by Rev. O. E. Barrow, assisted by Rev. R. V. Felt, singing was by Mrs. Faye James. Mrs. John Wilson, T. T. Kiet and J. T. Pottinger. Mrs. Frank Brandy, pianist. The pall bearers were nephews of Mr. Krisinger. They were Will and George Brezo, Leonard Victora, Ed Patera, Charles Palma, and Jimmie Krisinger. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery. Relatives and friends who came from a distance to attend the service were Frank Krisinger of Timken, Kansas; Mrs. Mary Goody, Iowa City; Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Rychnovsky, Diagonal; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Wesley, Callender, Iowa; Mr. and MRs. Joe Van Gartmen of Peru.
