The love of her life, William E. "Bud" Ogle, preceded her in death. Life for Jude was never the same after his death. Jude grew up in Navarre Coulee and Chelan Falls and married Bud in 1935. They lived and farmed side by side northeast of Waterville for many years, moving to Waterville in 1985. Jude was a home-maker, mother, genealogist, friend and LPN. She loved to sew and made quilts for her family. Family was most important to Jude. She worked on the family genealogy and planned family reunions for all to enjoy. Her heart and home were always open to family and friends. Jude learned to swim in the Columbia River and was swimming into her 90's. She shared her love of swimming by teaching all of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews to swim. Jude loved challenge and adventure, like skydiving on her 87th birthday, snowmobiling and travel. She was an inspiration and a role model for many, for which we are grateful. We will miss her love, her smile, her strong will and inner strength. She was preceded in death by Bud; son, Patrick; and brother, Melvin. She is survived by her children, Sue (Neal) Wehmer of Washington/Arizona, Judy Hall of Yakima and Neil (Nancy) Ogle of Arkansas; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Wilbur Meier of Everett; sister-in-law, Margaret Meier of New York; and nieces and nephews. She was a special "mom" to Diane and Kyle. No services are planned at this time. Memorials may be made to Waterville Ambulance Fund or Central Washington Hospital Hospice. Arrangements by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
