Description	:	June Adele Sole was born on October 17, 1925 at Harvard, Nebraska to Alwyne and Iva (Chaney) Sole, the 7th of twelve children and passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Sunrise Country Manor near Milford at the age of 84 years 9 months and 3 days. June graduated with the class of 1943 from Grafton High School. The local telephone switchboard was operated out of the family home and upon June's graduation, she assisted her mother with the telephone service learning to be a telephone operator. June graduated with the class of 1943 from Grafton High School. Later she was employed at the Geneva and Lincoln offices of Lincoln Telephone Company. June next worked for MetroMail in the Lincoln office, as a compiler, retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Congregational Church in Grafton for many years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Favorite pastimes were playing cards and putting together jigsaw puzzles. She loved to raise flowers and had a special "Green Thumb" for raising violets, often starting new plants from a leaf. She enjoyed working with ceramics, making special pieces which she shared with her family. She was a kind and gentle person, always willing to help when needed. She took care of her mother for many years and assisted with "new" nieces and nephews when they were born and when they came to visit grandma. She will be missed by many relatives and friends. June is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Delores Sole, Waterloo, IA, sisters and brother-in-law, Jennie Griess, Grand Island, Alison and Dale Patten, Windsor, MO, many nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, Elmer, brothers, Owen, Ernest and George Sole, Claire Dailey, sisters, Jean A. Moritz, Iva F. Bussard, Bernice Hochreiter, brothers-in-law, James Hochreiter and Robert Moritz
