Read More	The following provided by Find A Grave contributor "Cara": The River Press, Fort Benton, Mont., 27 Jan 1965 June Leona Crane Killed in Hawaii June Leona Crane, 23, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Crane of this city, was killed in an accident near Honolulu, Hawaii, last Wednesday. Authorities there said Miss Crane was riding on a motorcycle driven by Ensign Tedford Kimbell, which missed a curve and skidded off the highway near Kahana Bay on Windward Oahu. The tragedy was double shocking to June's many friends in this county. Her older sister, Cleo Lorene, was one of the students killed in an auto accident near Great Falls March 30, 1957, when six died. June was born at the St. Clare hospital here June 12, 1941, and grew up in Fort Benton, graduating from local high school in June 1959. She was active in school affairs, as class and student body officer, in music, plays and on the school paper and annual staff. She graduated from Montana State College in 1963 with a degree in nursing, and before going to Hawaii about five months ago, worked for a year on the staff of a Denver hospital. She had been worthy advisor of the Fort Benton chapter of Order of Rainbow for Girls. Her sorority was Alpha Omicron Pi. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 11 o'clock at St. Paul's Episcopal church, Fort Benton, with Rev. Robert Walters officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. Survivors include the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Crane, of this city, and grandparents, Mrs. Ezra Crane and Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Morrison, all of Great Falls; and other relatives, including John Lepley of this city, and Roy Morrison, Calif., cousins. Sympathy of the community goes to the family in their tragic loss.
