Description	:	MRS. KATE BARNES DIED ON TUESDAY Mrs. Kate Lawson Barnes, 70, widow of Rome L. Barnes of Crisfield, died Tuesday in the McCready Memorial Hospital here. She was the daughter of the late George and Sallie Lawson. Mrs. Barnes was a member of Asbury Methodist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Miss Lillian Barnes, Mrs. Julian Whittington and Mrs. John Parks, all of Crisfield; a son, Rome L. Barnes, Jr. of Salisbury; three sisters, Mrs. Alonzo Nelson, Mrs. Gladys Byrd and Mrs. Paul Maddrix, all of Crisfield, and four grandchildren.
