Funeral services were held at the Central Methodist church, Springdale, Saturday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Rev. C.H. Sherman. Mrs. Riggs, before her marriage was Miss Katherine Davis, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V.E. David of Monett, Mo. She was born at Valley Center, Kansas October 2, 1903. Her father is a native of New York state and her mother, who was Mary C. Thompson before marriage, was born in Maryland. Nine years ago the family came from Kansas to Rogers and six years ago moved to Monett where the deceased was untied in marriage to Mr. Riggs December 8, 1926, Springdale having been her home since then. Out-of town relatives who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. V.E. Davis, Monett; Mr. and Mrs. G.R. Davis, Valley Center, Kansas; E.L. Davis, Mrs. W.H. Snyder, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Snyder, Mrs. Milo Brown, all of Wichita, Kansas; Mrs. J.M. Riggs, Willard R. Riggs, Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Riggs, Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Hawks, all of Rogers; H.S. Riggs and family who motored to Springdale from Slaton, Texas arrived a short time after the funeral. Rogers Daily News Rogers, AR November 9, 1928 Funeral services for Mrs. Glen Riggs, who died Thursday afternoon at the Fayetteville hospital, will be conducted from the Central Methodist church at Springdale Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in the Springdale cemetery.
