Services were conducted by Father Leonard Ziolkowski and burial was made at the Catholic cemetery. Mrs. Bukowski died at her home Friday, March 15, at the age of 58 years and three days. She had been in failing health since an illness which confined her to the hospital two years ago, but was stricken on February 22 and had since been bedfast. Catherine Jeratowski, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Jeratowski was born March 12, 1882, at Pittsburgh, Pa. She was united in marriage with John Bukowski on January 20, 1903 at Paplin, Neb. To this union seven children were born, one twin son, Louis, dying in infancy. Mr. and Mrs. Bukowski moved on a farm near Ashton, living there three years, later moving on a farm near Loup City, where they lived only a short time, returning to Ashton, where they lived for five years. They returned here, moving onto their farm three miles southeast of Loup City, where they remained until last October, when they purchased a house in town, where they have been living. Mrs. Bukowski was active in the Catholic Sewing circle and was a member of the Rosary Sodality. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, two sons, Ben of Omaha and Robert of Loup City; four daughters, Mrs. Constance Jensen of Broken Bow, Dorothy of Denver, and Harriet....
