Robert Sheffey name Obituary: Mrs. Katherine Vest, age 80 years, well known resident of White Gate, died at her home on Monday, Jan. 4th, a victim of pneumonia after a weeks illness. Funeral services were held at her home on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock and interment was made in the family cemetery. She is survived by nine children, all of whom were present at bedside when the end came but one daughter. Note by daughter Sadie Vest Warner: Mother died on Jan. the 4th, 1937, on a Monday 12 at noon. Was a bright sunny day. But was too so blue and dark for us children, the saddest day we've ever had.
