Born in Crisfield, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Alice Bedsworth Sterling. She was a retired cafeteria supervisor having worked in the Crisfield Elementary School No. 1. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church where she was in the Pollyanna Sunday School Class and the United Methodist Women. Born in Crisfield, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Alice Bedsworth Sterling. She was a retired cafeteria supervisor having worked in the Crisfield Elementary School No. 1. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chesapeake Chapter No. 28. Surviving is her husband, Horace W. Evans of Crisfield and one son, Horace Terry Evans of Salisbury. Her sister, Cynthia F. Milburne died this past April 25th. There are also several nieces and nephews surviving. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 3 in Immanuel Church with the Rev. Robert Kelly officiating, interment was in Sunnyridge Memorial Park. Arrangements were handled by Bradshaw and Sons Funeral Home.
