He was born on November 1, near Burchard, Nebraska, to Owen E. and Reuah F. (Pepperl) Peacock. Keith attended school in Burchard and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1934. Read More	FUNERAL CARD: KEITH WOODROW PEACOCK, 88 years, 11 months, 22 days, died Sunday, Oct 23, 2005 in Pawnee City, Nebraska at his residence. He was born on November 1, near Burchard, Nebraska, to Owen E. and Reuah F. (Pepperl) Peacock. Keith attended school in Burchard and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1934. Following High School, he worked on farms in the Pawnee City area and drove trucks for his father. In 1938, Keith met Vivian Larabee at a Christian church box supper. They were married on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 1940. Keith attended an airplane school in Lincoln, and in 1941 Keith and Vivian went to New York where he worked in the Niagara Falls Bell Aircraft plant until 1944 when they returned to Pawnee City. After his return to Nebraska, Keith went to work with his father in the Peacock Pump Shop, a business which later became Peacock Plumbing and Heating Contractors, and Peacock construction. He continued in these businesses until his retirement. Keith was devoted to his family and often said his hobby was his six grandchildren. He once figured that he and Vivian had driven around the world attending the school and college activities of his grandchildren. In later years he doted on his nine great-grandchildren. Keith was a member of the Christian Church and was active in the Pawnee City Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He was very proud of the fifty year award he received from the fire department in 2000. Keith was also an avid Husker fan. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Donald, Harold and Kenneth;four sisters: Hellen, Lucile, Pauline and Marjorie. He is survived by Vivian, his wife of nearly 65 years; three children and spouses: Sharon Parrish and Richard Baldwin of Red Oak, Iowa; Roger and Dorothy Peacock of Atkinson, Nebraska; and Janelle and Glenn Bertrand of Minden, Nebraska; six grandchildren and spouses: Scott and Tina Parrish, Kansas City; Anissa and Darin Batchelor, Kansas City; Chris and Kendra Peacock, Lincoln; Matthew and Peggy Bertrand, Hastings; Rachel and Chris Pultz, Lincoln; Eric and Nicole Bertrand, Kearney and one step-grandson, Chris and Karen Bertrand, Sonoma, California; nine great-grandchildren and one step great-granddaughter, Ashley and Skylar Parrish, Tinsley Batchelor, Malia and Major Peacock, Zane and Paxton Bertrand, Sidda Pultz, Joslyn Bertrand and Savannah Bertrand.
