Description	:	Kenneth “Doc” Dockins, age 76, entered into rest on May 25, 2015 at the Salina Regional Health Center. He was born on March 12, 1939 in Clyde, Kansas to George W. and Lucy M. (Brichat) Dockins. He was a 1957 graduate of Clyde High School. On August 13, 1959 he married Joyce Huggerth at the Christian Church in Clyde. Kenneth worked 27 years for Hutchinson Mfg. in Clay Center, KS.; He retired from Alstrom Preheater in Concordia. Read More	Kenneth “Doc” Dockins, age 76, entered into rest on May 25, 2015 at the Salina Regional Health Center. He was born on March 12, 1939 in Clyde, Kansas to George W. and Lucy M. (Brichat) Dockins. He was a 1957 graduate of Clyde High School. On August 13, 1959 he married Joyce Huggerth at the Christian Church in Clyde. He was a Member of the Christian Church, Clyde. He is survived by his wife Joyce of the home, 2 sons, Greg Dockins (Cindi), Gerald Dockins, granddaughter, Trisity Pope and her children Taylor and Braxtin all of Clyde; Stepgrandsons, Josh Gilmore, Dan (Tori) Gilmore and their children Mia, Alex, Bonnie and Adam Gilmore and son Braden and “Doc’s” sidekick “Buddy”. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Jason. Cremation has taken place and Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Christian Church, Clyde, with the Rev. Fred Applegarth officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Clyde. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Chaput Mortuary in Clyde. Memorial Contributions may be given to Kenneth Dockins memorial fund to be determined at a later time c/o Chaput Mortuary, Clyde.
