Description	:	Kenneth Wesley Ingram was born September 28, 1913 in Lee Township, Buena Vista County, the son of Daniel Edward and Luella (Rickart) Ingram. He graduated from Sioux Rapids High School in 1931. On September 2, 1939 he was united in marriage to Phyllis L Dubois at Leesburg, Va. The couple made their home in several communities including Cherokee from 1962 until 1991. They returned to Storm Lake in 1991. During World War II, Ken worked as a B-24 inspector and taught aircraft engine mechanics at Willow Run, Mich. His lifetime occupations included working as a carpenter, a farmer and as a social worker. Read More	Kenneth Wesley Ingram was born September 28, 1913 in Lee Township, Buena Vista County, the son of Daniel Edward and Luella (Rickart) Ingram. He graduated from Sioux Rapids High School in 1931. On September 2, 1939 he was united in marriage to Phyllis L Dubois at Leesburg, Va. The couple made their home in several communities including Cherokee from 1962 until 1991. They returned to Storm Lake in 1991. During World War II, Ken worked as a B-24 inspector and taught aircraft engine mechanics at Willow Run, Mich. His lifetime occupations included working as a carpenter, a farmer and as a social worker. He was a member of Storm Lake United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, IOOF Lodge 221 of Storm Lake, and he was a charter member of the Buena Vista County Barbershop Chorus. Ken enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. His family includes his wife, Phyllis, Storm Lake; two sons, Michael and his wife Marsha of Storm Lake, and Terry and his wife, Kathie of Los Angeles, Cal.; five grandchildren: Shannon Breckenridge and her husband, Paul and their children Grace and Claire of Sacramento, Cal., Jay Ingram and his wife, Jill and,their children Jenna and Juliette of Alameda, Cal., Melanie Haakinson and her husband, Steve and their son Ian of Omaha, Neb., Matt Ingram and his wife, Stephanie of Omaha, Neb., and Annie Ingram of Los Angeles, Cal. . He was preceded in death by his parents, three brother Ray, Glen and Floyd and by a sister, Cleeta.
