He worked at Blumhardt Mfg. as a welder for 14 years, retiring in 1993. He was church council member at Zion Lutheran Church in Ashley and had been a deacon of Zion 2 Lutheran Church rural Fredonia. Survivors include his wife, one brother Freddie of Ashley, one sister Mrs. Marvin (Frances) Hoffman of Fredonia and his mother Mathilda Weszner of Ashley.
