DEATHS- KITTIE CRAMER Mrs. Kittie Cramer whose serious illness has been a matter of great concern to her family and friends, passed away at her home in Sabetha last Thursday, March 18. Kittie Tozer was born February 1, 1864 at Petersburg, Ill., and grew up in that state, in her young womanhood she came to Sabetha where her brother, Ed Tozer, lived and her home has been here ever since. She was married to Adam C. Cramer in Elden, Iowa, December 26, 1886. To this union were born four children, Neal, who died in September 1905, a son who died at birth, Glen of Sabetha and Clark of Topeka. Mr. Cramer died March 26, 1931. Kittie Cramer was a charter member of the Methodist Sunday school and a member of the church from the time she came to Sabetha. She was a faithful attendant at all services as long as her health would permit. She was active in the various church organizations and found joy in these activities. Mrs. Cramer was a woman of grace and charm from youth to the end. A beauty of spirit emanated from her gracious personality. She was a wonderful homemaker, a devoted wife and mother, yet found time for neighborliness and civic and social contacts which enriched and influenced the lives of all who knew her. When illness first attack Mrs. Cramer few knew of the seriousness of her case. She continued to be cheerful and interested in those about her, continued her church and social activities. This she did as long as humanly possible even when suffering was intense. Her indomitable courage won the admiration of all who knew her. A handicap of deafness over a period of years was graciously met and conquered as much as possible. No handicap could shadow her determination to make the best of life and be of service. During her long illness her family have given her devoted care. Letters and cards have brought messages of thoughtfulness and cheer. Every attention was always deeply appreciated and her gratitude expressed that it brought a consciousness of satisfaction to all who in anyway could serve her. The beauty of her well lived life, the beauty of face and spirit will linger in the fond memories of all who knew and loved her, and Heaven will seen dearer and more real because of her presence there. Mrs. Cramer is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; a brother, two sisters, other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Reinhart Funeral Home, conducted by her pastor, Rev. O. W. Zeidler. Interment was in the Sabetha Cemetery.
