The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Dave Elmore officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, north of Fairfield. Family visitation will be from 7 - 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established. Mrs. Lauder was born Feb. 1, 1901, in rural Fairfield, the daughter of Oliver and Viola Westenhaver Macy. She married Clarence E. Lauder March 11, 1919, in Fairfield. He died Jan. 23, 1965. Mrs. Lauder was a longtime resident of Prairie Chapel Community. She had worked for Fairfield Laundry. She was a housewife. She was a longtime member of the women's auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2271 and the local Rebekah Lodge. She served as pianist and had held offices for both organizations. She also was a member in Star of Bethlehem Shrine 44, White Shrine of Jerusalem, where she reached the office of worthy high priestess; and Christina Court No. 3, Order of Amaranth. She was a member of Antioch and Fairfield Friends churches. Survivors include two daughters, Marjorie Roldan of Evart, Mich., and Helen Parsons of Burlington; three sons, Donald Lauder of Fairfield, Keith Lauder of Middletown, R.I., and Richard Lauder of Loganville, Ga; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; twin son and daughter; four brothers, Harry, Dick, Ira and Delbert Macy. ---------- CORRECTION Fairfield Ledger June 7, 2000 The obituary of Dorothy Macy Lauder, which was published in Tuesday's Ledger, omitted that she was also preceded in death by one grandson.
