Description	:	CLAY CENTER -- Lanny Royce Siebold, 56, died Thursday, April 8 at a Clay Center hospital. He was a lifelong farmer in Clay County, and he had worked as a carpenter. He was born on Sept. 13, 1942, in Clay Center, the son of Marvin Harold and Grace Carolyn Matson Siebold. He attended schools in the Idylwild community in rural Clay County and graduated from Clay County Community High School in 1960. Read More	CLAY CENTER -- Lanny Royce Siebold, 56, died Thursday, April 8 at a Clay Center hospital. He was a lifelong farmer in Clay County, and he had worked as a carpenter. He was born on Sept. 13, 1942, in Clay Center, the son of Marvin Harold and Grace Carolyn Matson Siebold. He attended schools in the Idylwild community in rural Clay County and graduated from Clay County Community High School in 1960. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where he served on the Board of Trustees. He served on the Board of Directors of the Farmers COOP Elevator Association of Morganville and was a former member of the Clay County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Board. He married Rita Ohlde on May 15, 1966, in Palmer, where she survives of the home. Other survivors include a son, Randy Siebold, Clay Center; three daughters, Annette Siebold and Susan Tiers, both of Clay Center, and Lana Siebold, Manhattan; his parents Marvin and Grace Siebold, Clay Center; two brothers, Jerry Siebold, Clay Center, Tony Siebold, Manhattan; two sisters, Carolyn Brown, Rifle, Colo., Marsha Pittenger, New Castle, Colo.; and one grandchild. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the ST. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center.
