Description	:	SHOALS, NC ~ Mr. Larry Dean Rodgers, 56, of Shoals, a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and father-in-law, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2009 at his home. Mr. Rodgers was born in Surry County on February 14, 1953 to Mae Ruth Tilley Rodgers and the late Bernice Rodgers. Mr. Rodgers worked as a Technician for BE Aerospace of Winston-Salem. He was a devoted member serving as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Pinnacle View Baptist Church. Read More	SHOALS, NC ~ Mr. Larry Dean Rodgers, 56, of Shoals, a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and father-in-law, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2009 at his home. Mr. Rodgers was born in Surry County on February 14, 1953 to Mae Ruth Tilley Rodgers and the late Bernice Rodgers. Mr. Rodgers worked as a Technician for BE Aerospace of Winston-Salem. He was a devoted member serving as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Pinnacle View Baptist Church. Mr. Rodgers is survived by his loving wife, Pauline Rodgers; one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and April Rodgers; one daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Jeremy Palmer; two brothers, Mike Rodgers and David Rodgers, four grandchildren, Montana, Brooke and Summer Rodgers, Andrea Palmer, all of the Shoals community; two aunts; and many cousins; one special friend, Tim Joyner. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Pinnacle View Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Ronnie Chamblin and the Rev. Kevin Wilson officiating with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Pinnacle View Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice of Surry County, 401 Technology Lane, Mt. Airy, NC 27030 and NC Baptist Men Disaster Recovery of Yadkin Baptist Association, c/o Pauline Rodgers, 1483 Shoals Road, Pinnacle, NC 27043. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Nursing staff of Mountain Valley Hospice of Surry County. Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain is assisting the Rodgers family.
