Description	:	Larned -- Larry Gene Ellis, 63, died Sept. 30 at St. Joseph Memorial Long Term Care, Larned. He was born May 8, 1942, in Nekoma, the son of Harry A. and Beulah Eilts Ellis. On April 4, 1974, he married Ann Dreiling at the Holy Family Church in Odin. A barber and trucker, he was a longtime resident of Rozel. Survivors include his wife, Ann; two sons, Chris and his wife Penny of Wichita and Curtis and his wife Allyson of Overland Park; a daughter, Colleen and her husband Chris Burke of Greenwood, Ind.; three brothers, Harry R. of Bozeman, Mont., Donald of Missoula, Mont., and Edward of Florence, Mont.; two sisters, Judi Welch of Pawnee Rock and Sharilyn Reifschneider of Garden City; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy. Vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel in Larned. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, with the Rev. Anthony Suellentrop celebrant. Burial will be at the Larned Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and until service time Tuesday, at the mortuary. Memorials may be sent to the Burdett Emergency Medical Service or to Sacred Heart Church, in care of Beckwith Mortuary, Inc.
