Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Laura (Messmore) Findling, wife of C.E. Findling, are to be held at the Kemp Memorial Methodist church Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 with Rev. True S. Haddock officiating. The body was taken to the late home west of Tipton Monday afternoon to lie in state until the hour of services and friends may call at any time. Mrs. Findling was horn In Alvin Ill., September 5, 1890, but came to Tipton when young, the family moving here in 1902. Her marriage to C. E. Findling took place May 14, 1924, and they have the one daughter, Naomi Ruth. In addition a niece, Miss Evelyn Messmore, made her home with the deceased and husband while attending school and while a student at Ball State college. Surviving with the husband, daughter and father, are three brothers, Ernest of Chicago, Leroy at Frankfort and Charles at Cleveland, 0., and one sister, Mrs. Bertha Richards of Kokomo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a step-daughter, Mrs. Raymond Leininger, the latter residing near the Findling home west of Tipton. The mother, two sisters and a brother preceded her to the grave. Mrs. Findling, in addition being active in the Kemp Memorial Methodist church, was an active member of the Home Economics club, the Matinee Musicale of Tipton, the Farm Bureau, the Helpers club and several other organizations. In the death of this woman the community loses one of its best loved women and many friends.
