Description	:	Laura Katherine Crandall Weber was born in Cook county, Ill., Oct. 30, 1887. She came to Knox county, Neb. with her parents, when she was 12 years old, where she has since resided, with the exception of about three years, when she was with the Crandall Mercantile Company of Wadena, Ind. For the past two years, she has been at home with her parents. In January she was married in Montana to Mark A. Weber of this place. Since her marriage she has visited at the home of her sister at Oelrichs, S.D., where she was taken sick on April 7.... Read More	Laura Katherine Crandall Weber was born in Cook county, Ill., Oct. 30, 1887. She came to Knox county, Neb. with her parents, when she was 12 years old, where she has since resided, with the exception of about three years, when she was with the Crandall Mercantile Company of Wadena, Ind. For the past two years, she has been at home with her parents. In January she was married in Montana to Mark A. Weber of this place. Since her marriage she has visited at the home of her sister at Oelrichs, S.D., where she was taken sick on April 7. The next morning she was taken to Hot Springs, where she had the highest medical skill the profession affords. She died on April 11 at 3:25 a.m. of inflamation of the bowels. The remains were brought here Tuesday afternoon by the husband and were met at the depot by a large number of friends, who escorted them to the Methodiat church, where the funeral services were held by Rev. Bowen. She was a member of the Royal Neighbor and Rebecka lodges of this place and will be sadly missed from their circle, always light hearted and cheerful, ever ready to do with willing hands any simple request. She leaves a young husband, father, mother, one sister, one brother and scores of friends to mourn her death, but she will never be forgotten. ...The Creighton News 14 April 1910
