Description	:	Marie Elizabeth Crandall was born in Cook County, Ill, July 5, 1885 and died at her home in Creighton, September 23, 1921 at the age of 36 years. Her death resulted from typhoid fever from which she had suffered a short while before passing away. Mrs. Morley was the mother of ten children, nine of whom are living, a little one having been taken away a year ago. Mrs. Morley was the mother of ten children, nine of whom are living, a little one having been taken away a year ago. She was the last of the Crandall children, four of her brothers and sisters having preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her husband, parents and nine children, six of whom are at present ill with the same disease, which claimed their mother. The funeral was conducted Saturday afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. She was one of five children, two died in infancy, her brother, Clarence died in 1916 at the age of 26, her sister, Laura C. also died in young adulthood. Marie married LeRoy A. Morley, a mail carrier. They were the parents of ten children. At the time of the 1920 census, they ranged in age from 13 years to 5 months. Harry S. Found 5 children sick in bed. Marie about dead when we got there. She died at 8:10 p.m. Sept. 24, 1921...There will be no funeral, a short prayer service at the house at 2:30, after the kids get well, they will have a memorial service at church. Mama helped clean up and move the sick in different quarters. ...A.W.
