Description	:	Mrs. H. C. Irvine Birmingham --- Mrs. Lavinia Irvine, 80, died Wednesday morning at Jefferson County hospital in Fairfield. She had been a patient Tuesday since afternoon. She was born March 13, 1880 at Monticello, Iowa, the daughter of James and Margaret Greer. She was married September 5, 1906, to Howard C. Irvine, who survives. She also leaves three sons, Walter Irvine of Elmhurst, Ill., Capt. Read More	Mrs. H. C. Irvine Birmingham --- Mrs. Lavinia Irvine, 80, died Wednesday morning at Jefferson County hospital in Fairfield. She had been a patient Tuesday since afternoon. She was born March 13, 1880 at Monticello, Iowa, the daughter of James and Margaret Greer. She was married September 5, 1906, to Howard C. Irvine, who survives. She also leaves three sons, Walter Irvine of Elmhurst, Ill., Capt. Donald Irvine, an Annapolis graduate who is aboard ship in the Pacific, and Dr. Paul Irvine of Highland Park, Ill., who is attending a medical convention; and a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Keswick of Quincy, Ill. There are six grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, C. K. Greer of Monticello, Iowa. Dr. and Mrs. Irvine moved to Fairfield in 1957 following his retirement of the Birmingham and Mt. Zion Presbyterian churches which they had served for 36 years. She was a member of the P. E. O. at Fairfield. The service will be Friday at 2 p.m. (DST) at the Birmingham Presbyterian church. Dr. C. B. Douglas of Fairfield and the Rev. Leroy Persohn, local pastor, will be in charge. Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery. The body is at the Burch funeral home here.
