Goyette, lifetime resident of Aurora died Monday, June 8, at St. Joseph's Hospital after having been ill since October 1952. Mrs. Goyette was born Sept. 11, 1881, in Aurora, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Provost. She was a member of St. Ann Sodality of Aurora. Mrs. Goyette was the mother of 16 children, four of whom preceded her in death; Armand Goyette died in infancy; M. Sgt. Joe Goyette was killed in Korea in 1950; Adelore Goyette died in 1942; and M 1C Jalbert Goyette was killed in 1947 while serving with the U.S. Navy. Survivors are her husband; her twelve children, Mrs. Henrietta Deneault of Concordia, Sister Agnes Joseph of the Catholic Order of Sisters of St. Joseph of Concordia, Mrs. Josephine Beauregard of Miltonvale, Mrs. Bella Derig of Tacoma, Wash., Mrs. Leona DeWald of Tacoma, Wash., Leo Goyette of Clinton, Ia., David Goyette of Stockton, Calif., SN Francis Goyette of Ft. Belvoir, Wa., M. Sgt. Ronald Goyette of Ft. Lewis, Wash., Mrs. Helen Poutre of Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Lucy Schultz of Inglewood, Calif., Mrs. Mary Ruth Oxendine of San Francisco, Calif.; twenty-six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Joe Cote of Concordia. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Rosary services for Mrs. Edward T. Goyette will be held tonight at 8 o'clock at the Chaput Funeral Home.
