Davison, well known retired Dexter employe (sic) and resident of Fairfield for over 30 years. He passed away at 2 p.m. at the Jefferson county hospital after suffering a stroke. He had been in failing health for several years and seriously ill the past 24 hours. Last rites will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home with the Rev. Donald A. Eagle in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Lee E. Davison, 77, was born Sept. 27, 1881, at Brighton, Iowa, the son of the late Francis and Sarah Custer Davison. He was united in marriage to Neetia Stone on Dec. 21, 1910, at Wayland. He moved to Fairfield 31 years ago and was employed at the Dexter company for 17 years. He was a member of the Christian church at Brighton. Besides his wife, Davison is survived by one son, Ralph Davison, Des Moines; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Kessel, Brighton, and a brother, Tom Davison, Brighton. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. -------------------------- Note: Lee's first wife Nellie died a month after childbirth in 1907.
