Description	:	Mrs Lela C Bryant, wife of D V Bryant, two miles south of Bangor, died at 7:30 Saturday night at home after an illness of twelve years with brain tumor. The immediate cause of death was bronchial pneumonia from which she had suffered for two weeks. Mrs Bryant was born in Yadkin County, North Carolina April 4, 1890. She came to Hardin County with her parents, Mr and Mrs G W Jester in 1901. She was married to Mr Bryant at Des Moines May 25, 1910 and had since made her home on a farm near Bangor.... She is survived by her parents and two children, Julius and Lucille. She was a member of the W.C.T.U. at Bangor. Prayer service was held from the home at one o'clock Tuesday afternoon and the funeral was held from the Clemons church at 2 o'clock. Burial was in the Clemons Cemetery. November 15, 1928 State Center Enterprise.
